Adventure Trek: get to know Setti Fatma and its surrounding areas.

Visit the beautiful Setti Fatma waterfall and spend some time trekking in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco.

During this trip we will be discovering the Ourika Valley in the High Atlas. Divided by the Ourika river, this trekking holiday allows us to discover the high peaks of the Atlas mountains that surround the valley and its beautiful landscapes. The Ourika Valley is green all year round.

Day 1 : Marrakech / Imlil / Tacheddirt

Upon arrival in Marrakech you will be transferred to Imlil where we’ll start our trekking tour by heading towards the valley of Tacheddirt, passing by Tizi ‘n Tamatert at 2279 metres above sea level (ASL) to arrive at Ouanesekra village at 2200 metres ASL in the valley of Tacheddirt. We will spend the night in a Berber gîte or in tents.
Approx walking duration is  4 hours.

Day 2 : Tacheddirt / Timichi

We’ll start trekking from Tacheddirt towards Timichi, passing by the Tizi ‘n Tacheddirt Pass at 3172 metres, and then we’ll start a decent, crossing the villages of Ibbasen and Timichi. We’ll spend the night in a Berber gîte. Approx walking duration is 6 to 7 hours.

Day 3 : Tmichi / Setti Fatma / Marrakech

Today we will hike from Timichi towards Setti Fatma, 1700 metres ASL. We’ll go through some very scenic Berber villages in the valley including: Tiourdou, Anfli, Tadrart, Chiker.

After our lunch we will continue via Agadir ‘n Aït Boulmane and on to the center of Setti Fatma. If there is enough time we will visit the stunning waterfall in Setti Fatma before returning to Marrakech. Approx walking duration is 4 to 5 hours.
