Day 1: Casablanca Airport - Hotel in Casablanca:
You willbewelcomed by your driver /guide in the airport of Mohamed 5 in Casablanca and takeyou to yourhotel in Casablanca. Overnight in the hotel. Also if you have alreadyarrived Casablanca few daysbeforethenyouwillbepicked up fromyourhotel to start the tour.
Day 2: Casablanca-Rabat-Chefchaouen:
Morning start with the biggestmosque in Casablanca, Hassan 2 Mosquebeforegoing to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Visit the Bab Challah, Mausoleum of Mohammed V and one of the main gates of the royal palace and the Oudaya Kasbah. Drive straight to the blue city of Chefchaouen and passthroughmanysmalltowns. Wander in the bluealleys of the medina. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 3: Chefchaouen-Fez:
Morning free to explore the Blue city. It is a city located in the Rif Mountains, north-west of Morocco. It isfamous for the remarkable buildings of differenttones of fadedblue of itsoldtown. Leather and weaving workshops line itssteepcobbledalleys. In the shaded central square of Outa el Hammam is the casbah withredwalls, fortress and keep of the fifteenth century withethnographic and artistic exhibitions. The octagonal minaret of the Great Mosquerises not far fromthere,Thenafter lunch continue traveling to Fez.
Day 4: Fez: visitafternoon drive to azrou
Explore the oldest city in Morocco, walking in itsalleys and smallstreets. Starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah everbuilt in Morocco, builtduring the 14th century. Ensurethatyouvisit all sites with cultural and historicalinterestincluding the famous Al QaraouineUniversity, the oldest one in the world, the Tanneries and Moulay Idriss mausoleum. Afternoonvisit the tilescooperative and thenexperience a wonderfulpanoramicview over the whole Medina of Fes. Overnight in Azrounearifranemidelle atlas.
Day 5 : Azrou via khenifrabenimellal Marrakech
After breakfast we drive to red city marrakech via the midelle atlas khenifraregionbenimellalarrival in the end of afternoon to marrajech one of the best city of morocco
Day 6 : Exploringday in Marrakech
After breakfast today, meetwith a local guide whowillbring the magic of Marrakech to life as you set off on a morning tour of the oldmedina, through the bustling souks that are the lifeblood of the city. Explore tranquilcourtyardsfilledwith the scent of orange blossom and the many salons and chambersthatmake up Bahia Palace. Stop by the KoutoubiaMosque;the insideis for Muslimsonly, but the famous minaret is a sight to behold. Walk back through the streets of the oldmedina to Djemaa el-Fna, stopping off to taste some of the marvellousfreshlysqueezed orange juicefrom a local stall – thisis sure to be one of the mostdelicious glasses of orange juiceyouever have. The rest of the dayis free to explore further. Perhapsvisit Le Jardin Secret, a traditionalmedinagardenwith a magnificentcourtyard, or head back into the medina and practice yourhagglingskills. For your final evening, perhapsjoinyour group for a farewelldinner - your leader willbe able to recommendsomefantastic local restaurants.
Day 7 : Marrakech to essaouira
After breakfast leave for Essaouira, a city where the medinabrushes up against the Atlantic Ocean and whereyouwillspend the nexttwonights. Get to know thislaidback and windswept city during an orientation walkwithyour leader whowill help younavigate a maze of marketstalls and narrowstreetswhile sharing insights on local life in one of North Africa'smost attractive places. Pass the harbourfilledwithcolourfulboats and explore the fish souk. Hereyouwillchoose a catch of the day and takeit to a local-filled restaurant – follow their lead and hand over yourmarketpurchase for it to begrilled for the freshest of meals. Your leader willalsotakeyou to the freshvegetablesmarketswhereyouwillchooseyoursalads and veggies to accompanyyourseafood lunch. Enjoy a deliciousmealtogetherwith the rest of your group. Day 8 : Relax day in essaouiranight in el jadida
The name Essaouira means image, whichisappropriate for the picturesquetown. This artists' townwas once home to sizeable British and Jewish populations, and itscharm has seduced people like Orson Welles and Jimi Hendrix, who (according to local legend) spentmuch of his time here in the 1960s. Enjoy a free day to wander the city’scharmingsandstonestreets, givingway to the cart-haulerscalling ‘ballak, ballak’. Your leader willofferadvice on the best ways to spend the day. Perhaps explore Essaouira’smagnificentcoast and golden sand dunes on horseback. Discover the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah Museum and its collection of artefacts, woodwork, carpets and stringed instruments, or sit back and watch the kite surfers ride the crashingwaves. You can alsodiscover the taste of Morocco in a cooking class, or headoutside of the city to the beautifulsurroundings on a daytrip.
